The Dale Basin Well Owners Association will host a General Meeting on Sunday, August 10 at 1:00 pm at the Wonder Valley Community Center, 80525 1/2 Amboy Road, Wonder Valley, CA.
In this meeting we’ll learn about upcoming openings on the board in preparation for the annual board elections on December 7th. Members are invited to consider running for one of these positions. The job descriptions are included in our bylaws (DBWOA-bylaws). Please chat with any of the current board members to find out more information, or email the secretary at info@dalebasinwellowners.org.
We’ll also receive an update from our Treasurer on our non-profit status and our current financial health.
And, we’ll hear a talk titled, "Well Pump Disaster! - What can be done to retrieve a detached well pump?"
Sometimes our well pump can become detached from the discharge pipe and get
stuck down in our well, or the electrical cable can fall and become wedged down
the pipe. Oh no!!
Fortunately, there are some strategies that can help. Chancey Chambers will be
giving a talk about these scenarios, and some possible ways to remedy these
disasters.
We have a feeling that we will appreciate our well professionals even more after this talk!
