Hello Friends,
The Dale Basin Well Owners Association will be holding a General Meeting on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Wonder Valley Community Center, 80526-1/2, Amboy Rd, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277. Everyone is welcome!
The talk topic will be “Winterizing Your Well.” Timely, don’t you think? As the cold weather is coming (some folks say it is HERE!), we all should ensure that our well is protected from becoming damaged during a freeze. But, what parts need protecting, and how do we protect them? Come and find out from a well professional!
In the meeting, we will approve the notes from our August meeting, which may be found here: https://www.dalebasinwellowners.org/post/meeting-announcement-dbwoa-general-meeting-08-10-2025 (scroll down to the bottom, click on the box that says “DBWOA MEETING MINUTES.)
We will receive the annual financial report from our Treasurer, Maarten.
And, most exciting: Elections! Yes, it is time to elect our new Board for the 2026 term. Maybe you are considering becoming a board member? There are a couple of positions opening up, and I’m happy to chat (by email or phone) with you about it and answer any questions that you may have. Reach out: info@dalebasinwellowners.org.
A gentle reminder: membership dues for 2025 must be current in order to vote. If you haven’t had time to renew your annual dues yet, you are welcome to do so at the sign-in table at the meeting. Dues are $10 per year, and cover the calendar year of January 01 through December 31. And, while you are at it, why not take care of your 2026 dues too? Simple!
Lastly, rumor has it there will be cookies… ;)
See you there!
Beth Sheffield, Secretary
Dale Basin Well Owners Association
PS: Come and see the newly remodelled Wonder Valley Community Center! The construction crew has been working on updating the kitchen for about a year now, and there will be a community center clean-up on Saturday, December 6th , from 8:00 am to noon, to tidy up following the construction. Everyone is welcome, and many hands make for short work – come for 30 minutes or an hour, or for the morning. Let’s get our center sparkling again!
