Warm Fall Greetings!
The Dale Basin Well Owners Association will be hosting a General Meeting on Sunday, December 8th at 11:00 am at the Wonder Valley Community Center, 80526-1/2,Amboy Rd, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277.
ELECTION OF 2025 BOARD MEMBERS: This is an important meeting because it will include the annual election of Board Members. After two years of having a full board, several positions are opening up and members of the association are warmly invited to apply or to nominate someone else for a position. Openings include President, Vice President and two Directors. Responsibilities for each position may be found on our website, in the By-Laws document (https://www.dalebasinwellowners.org/documents)
QUALIFICATIONS: The roles of board members are administrative in nature. You do not need to be an expert in domestic wells in order to be on the board. We have several long term and well experienced well owners within our membership who can answer general questions and share their opinions on well issues.
TIME REQUIREMENTS: The board meets 2 weeks prior to each general meeting, and general meetings are held only 2-3 times per year. So, it is not a big demand on your time.
BOTTOM LINE: If you have easy access to email, and are able to attend a couple of meetings per year, you can do it! Please consider joining us. Let me know if you are interested or have questions. I’d be happy to chat – and, I’d be happy to nominate you if you are open to it!
ALSO ON THE MEETING AGENDA: As requested in our last general meeting, there will be space for “New Business,” as well as a “Year-to-Date” financial report from our Treasurer. We will also continue our “Ask a Well Driller” segment for general well related questions.
And, our current President Chancey Chambers will give a talk on Pressure Switches: what is a pressure switch, what does it do, and how this little device can save a little wear and tear on your well pump.
I hope to see you there!
Beth Sheffield, Secretary
Dale Basin Well Owner’s Association
